The course takes approximately 1 hour and must be completed online. While you set up the account and enter your basic information you will be given instructions to identify your child (please use the same name you use to register your child in the Hockey Canada Registry/online house league registration) and identify the league the child plays in. Our league is listed as HL – Mimico Hockey. This links your certification to your child’s profile with Hockey Canada and allows us to confirm that you are in compliance with the requirement.

This is a one-time certification. Once completed you WILL NOT be required to recertify again the next year.

If you already have this certification (ie – you completed it as a member of a different league) you DO NOT need to recertify. However, you must log-in to your Respect in Sport account and add your MCHA-playing child to your profile.

The course fee is $12 (plus tax) and is paid directly to Respect in Sport Group Inc. No money is received by MCHA for this certification.
